Ron Hornaday made history on Friday night when he became the first driver ever to win four consecutive NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
Hornaday won his fourth consecutive race in 2009 by taking the checkers at the AAA Insurance 200 at O’Reilly Raceway Park. He edged out a hard-charging Mike Skinner, Dennis Setzer, and Aric Almirola in a thrilling finish.
Hornaday now leads the Truck Series standings by 174 points over Skinner, who passed Matt Crafton in the standings after Crafton’s 16th place effort.
Congratulations to Hornaday on his triumph. It isn’t easy winning a single race in one of NASCAR’s top levels, much less four in a row. Congrats Ron!
