The "Day After" Discussion: Bristol

This week’s “Day After” Discussion takes place two days after the running of the Sharpie 500. So, technically it isn’t a “Day After” discussion. But is reading the “Day After” Discussion really something you want to do on a day meant for honoring God?

Probably not. Sunday is God’s day. It’s more appropriate to read the Discussion on a Monday. It’s also much more fun to read it and comment on it during your first day back at work, especially when your boss isn’t looking. At least, that’s what I would assume.

So that brings me to this week’s “Two Days After” Discussion. And believe me, there’s a lot to talk about:

Will Kyle Busch’s win propel him into the Chase?

After two consecutive top 10s, is Dale Earnhardt Jr. officially back?

Can Marcos Ambrose officially be considered a “contender” on a weekly basis?

Can Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart bounce back in Atlanta?

Is Kasey Kahne’s team prepared to shoot itself in the foot this close to Chase time… again?

Was it just me, or did Jimmie Johnson speed coming off pit road during the pit stop his crew messed up on?

Is Bristol losing its touch, and reputation?

And for the conspiracy theorists:

After the way Kyle Busch raced on Saturday night, where he and his brother rubbed fenders, but he gave both Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin plenty of room, is Busch in cahoots with Hendrick Motorsports?

Feel free to discuss these, or any other issues related to the weekend’s racing action at Bristol on the comment wall. Just keep it clean(ish). Remember, God is always watching.
