Colin Braun has the coolest job in the world. And today, it got even cooler.
Braun is a development driver for Roush-Fenway Racing, which is the largest race team in NASCAR with 9 cars spread across all 3 of NASCAR’s top divisions. That means Braun will likely, one day, be a millionaire. But as if that isn’t enough, he gets to drive a Ford Mustang. As part of his job description.
This photo was taken today at the team’s headquarters at an announcement by Roush-Fenway Racing that Colin Braun will be driving the #16 Conway Freight Ford full-time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010:
You can also see another image of the car at Fordracing.com.
Unfortunately for Braun, he will only get to drive the Mustang a few times next year, as the Nationwide Car of Tomorrow is not being completely phased in until 2011. But at least he’ll get to drive it. At 200 miles per hour. And get paid for it.
By the way, Braun just turned 21 last month.
Guys of all ages, honestly, how many of you are truly envious of Colin Braun right now? I know I am.
