Which NASCAR Driver Will Drive This Beauty?

Check out this beauty of a car! This is the race car of brand-new start-up team, Keyed-up Motorsports. The team has no driver, no sponsor, and evidently, no graphic artist.

But they do have two very important things. The first is a crew chief. Doug Richart, former crew chief for Greg Biffle and Brian Vickers, joined up with the newly-formed team just last week.

The second is perhaps the most important: Determination. Sponsor or not, this team will be going to Daytona, as well as the four following races. What happens after that, of course, will be determined by sponsorship.

So which lucky driver will get to drive the Ol’ Powdered Beauty? There are several drivers without rides who would probably love to have a shot. Guys such as John Andretti, Dave Blaney, Ken Schrader, or even J.J. Yeley. Personally, to me it looks like a Patrick Carpentier car.

What about you? Who could you see driving this car?

Tony Raines deserves a car that runs good like the old Penzoil Truck days. He has the ability to win and if not at least can bring it home in one piece.

My guess is that Scott Wimmer drives. Definintley not Dave Blaney he was talking to BAM but will stay at Prism. Wimmer drove for Key Motorsports in the Nationwide series.

Scott Riggs is still available and so is Casey Mears.

Wimmer, Mears, and Riggs are all drivers who have driven Chevy’s for lots of their careers.

Carpetier has no experience with Chevy (only Dodge and Toyota).
