Jimmie Johnson Part of First “Double-u Tee Eff” Moment of 2010

AUTHOR: | IN: NASCAR | COMMENTS: None Yet

The first “Are you kidding me” or “Double-u Tee Eff” moment of 2010 has happened, and Jimmie Johnson is a part of it. In fact, he pretty much is it. Jimmie Johnson was given the first-quarter “Driver of the Year” award for his performance thus far in 2010. The award is not just available to NASCAR drivers, but to drivers of every racing series all over the world. Jimmie Johnson Running France Sr. Decal at Darlington

AUTHOR: | IN: NASCAR | COMMENTS: None Yet

In honor of the grand opening of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Jimmie Johnson will be running a special decal commemorating one of the HoF inductees at Darlington. France is the only inductee thus far to be commemorated by a decal. Not even Richard Petty, who owns a four-car team in NASCAR, or Dale Earnhardt, whose son still races in NASCAR, are being commemorated. The grand opening is set for Tuesday, May 11. [...]

Instead, Patrick wanted to focus on the Indycar series, which she has stolen the spotlight of, but has never really had the success of most of the other drivers in the series. So how is that Indycar thing working out for Danica this year? Not too well. After 5 races, Patrick sits 16th in the standings, with just 1 top 10. She has no wins, and no top 5s. Now, [...]
