Does Kyle Busch Suffer From Self-Esteem Problems?

Kyle Busch is notorious for his conceited attitude.

It seems that when Busch wins, he takes a bow for the crowd and brags like there’s no tomorrow. But when he loses, he throws temper tantrums and whines for the cameras.

So what is the deal with Kyle Busch? Is he just naturally egotistical, or is there more to it than that?

After watching Kyle discuss his reasons for losing Saturday’s Truck race at Michigan, I have to believe Busch suffers from self-esteem issues. During the interview, which can be seen here, Busch put himself down on multiple occasions.

Busch first exclaimed that the reason behind his third-place finish was that, “I suck at Michigan.” Busch also put himself down when asked if Michigan was simply just a difficult race track by saying, “Aric[Almirola] can win here, but I can’t.”

Almirola won driving the truck Busch drove at Michigan for the last 5 years.

This isn’t the first time Busch has put himself down after a race. Typically, it comes across as arrogance. But rarely do we see people act like this without some sort of a deeper issue. I have to believe that such is the case with Kyle Busch. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong. But perhaps there is something more behind Busch’s attitude.

I now turn it over to you. Do you think Kyle Busch is just an arrogant jerk, or is there something deeper going on there?
