The reason I put AJ as a NOT is because the 10th-place run was a HUGE disappointment for him, and he&#039;s been bitten by bad luck a lot lately(just like last week at Loudon). I&#039;m not trying to be down on the guy; actually, just the opposite. If I put a guy in the NOT section, it&#039;s because I expect him to do better, and AJ proved he could&#039;ve done better at Dover. But bad luck bit him again. That&#039;s why he&#039;s a NOT this week.</description>

		<description>Despite AJ Allmendinger&#039;s flat tire, I would definitely put him in the HOT category. He&#039;s been running in the top 10 during every race for at least the past month and is showing people the 43 team is on its way to being a contender. To have led so many laps and have the dominant car for much of the day is a big step for them.

I&#039;ve been a Petty fan for 20 years and this is an exciting time. AJ has the most potential of any driver of the 43 car since the King himself. He showing it&#039;s not false hope - that team is turning into the real deal. Finally!</description>
