Denny Hamlin is getting into the Christmas spirit. This Saturday(which is Christmas Day, by the way), Hamlin is giving away an all-expenses paid trip to one lucky fan via his Twitter page. The release of NASCAR 2011: The Game is just two months away now. And as late February draws closer, more is being revealed about the most anticipated NASCAR video game ever. Gamespot.com recently did a piece on the game with Eutechnyx’s Ed Martin. In the 9-minute video(seen below), Martin talks more about the gameplay, setups, and other neat features in the game. The best part? The video shows actual gameplay from the perspective of the player(“Chase” cam, for the more sophisticated racing gamer), and includes a crash! Check it out:

A dominating 2010 Truck Series campaign for Todd Bodine in 2010 is already leading to good things for the defending champ for 2011. A New York news website has reported that Bodine will compete in all 3 events in NASCAR’s opening weekend at Daytona in February, including the Truck and Nationwide races, as well as the Daytona 500. Bodine will drive for Germain Racing in the Truck and Nationwide races and will be locked into those events based on 2010 owner points standings. Kyle Busch won the 2010 Stock Car Spin NASCAR Least Popular Driver award by almost a whopping 3,000 votes. Busch took 40% of the 9,271 votes cast by you, the fans. An amount which equaled an astonishing 3,741 votes. Second place Brad Keselowski took 10% of the vote with 883 tallies. Jimmie Johnson(8%), Carl Edwards(6%), and Dale Earnhardt Jr.(5%) rounded out the top 5. The Least Popular Driver contest was decided by a poll, in which fans got to vote for who they felt was NASCAR’s Least Popular Driver.
