Keselowski, Kurt Busch Blow Everybody Away On Day 3 Of Daytona Testing

Two words to remember come Speedweeks: Penske Racing.

In the final session of testing at Daytona, Penske teammates Brad Keselowski and Kurt Busch worked together in the draft and put up what were by far the fastest speeds of the week.

Keselowski topped the charts in the final session with a time of 45.316 seconds; over 198.5 miles per hour. Busch ran a time of 45.322; also over the 198.5 mph mark.

The Penske teammates were the only drivers to top 198 mph.

The Joe Gibbs Racing teammates of Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Joey Logano rounded out the top 5 in the final session. The fastest single-car run in the final session belonged to Greg Biffle(48.627; 185.082 mph).

Logano(45.566; 197.516 mph) and Hamlin(45.567; 197.511 mph) were quickest in Saturday’s morning session. Earnhardt-Ganassi teammates Jamie McMurray(48.688; 184.850 mph) and Juan Pablo Montoya(48.694; 184.828 mph) ran the fastest single-car times in the morning session.

Several drivers did not participate in Saturday’s sessions, including Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, David Reutimann, and Martin Truex Jr. Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman participated in the morning session, but not the afternoon session. Dale Earnhardt Jr. did not test on Saturday, but Josh Wise did test the #88 for Hendrick Motorsports.
