I feel that the championship should go to the best driver over 36 races, not 10. And as far as those fantastic finishes you're referring to, we've had two of those in 7 years. Not that stellar. I watched NASCAR for three years before the Chase came along, and while two of those were decided before the final race(like the week before), we did have one of the best championship races ever seen during that time. But all three of those years had one thing in common: The best driver won the championship. That's the way it should be in my opinion. Curt, I’m old-fashioned.
