Danica Patrick is very smart in how she has handled her Nascar and Indy car commitments. She said she was going to run Nascar part time for two years to see how it goes and then make a decision. That has not changed despite the constant badgering to make a choice. Her contract in Indy expires at the end of this year with an option for another. I hope she stays in Indy until she wins the Indy 500 but things are not so wonderful in the world of Indy Car racing.

She is also one of the smartest people in the motor sports business. She consistently creates her own opportunities. She is able to get the sponsorship she needs and surrounds herself with the right people to help her accomplish her goals.

People who question her commitment to Nascar have forgotten the original plan that she is pursuing. Last year at Fontana, she proved she could be competitive until she was taken out. The 4th place in Las Vegas only confirms what she can accomplish.

I would think that she would probably race Nascar full time next season with the caveat of being able to run the Indy 500 as well. Whatever she decides, I think that she will be competitive in any form of auto racing.
