Martin edges Daytona 500 winner Bayne for pole

Mark Martin put up the fastest speed — 182.065 mph – late in the qualifying session and won the pole Friday for Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Martin claimed his 50th career pole in the Sprint Cup Series.  He was followed by Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Gordon and David Ragan to round out the top 5.

The Coke Zero 400 will air at 7:30 PM EST tomorrow night on TNT!
