This will probably be one of the only times I will ever actually write about a different motorsport than NASCAR, but the racing world has lost yet another brother. Dan Wheldon, an IndyCar driver, was killed as he was involved in a fiery wreck on Lap 12 of the IndyCar World Championships at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Wheldon was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time ago.
Just like Dale Earnhardt, Dan Wheldon died doing what he loved. The Stock Car Spin team sends its condolences to the family of Dan Wheldon. Dan Wheldon will be truly missed.
RIP Dan Wheldon.
