When NASCAR Chairman Brian France walked into the media center on Friday afternoon he wasn’t expecting a hostile reception from the news media. But that is definitely what he got. The hostilities came from an Associated Press story that said Penske Racing driver Brad Keselowski had been fined $25,000 for comments he made criticizing NASCAR’s switch to EFI next year. Donation To Kick Off Capital Campaign For New Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2011) – The NASCAR Foundation today helped kick off Homestead Hospital’s capital campaign to build and equip a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a check presentation for $250,000. Brad Keselowski or NASCAR would neither confirm nor deny an Associated Press report that the No. 2 Miller Lite driver had been fined $25,000 for critical comments he made about NASCAR’s switch to fuel injection.
