After having a successful 2011 campaign, Paul Wolfe, and Brad Kesoloweski are going to become partners for quite some time now.
After the pair won 3 races in the Sprint Cup Series this season, they are receiving multi-year contract extensions in which the pair will be together for 2012, and beyond.
Roger Penske had this to say after announcing the contract extensions.
“The winning combination of Brad Kesolowski and Paul Wolfe has been terrific for Penske Racing and we are excited to announce that they will continue to work together. With one NASCAR championship and numerous wins in both the Nationwide Series and the Cup Series to their credit, this has proven to be a special pairing. Although Brad, Paul and the No. 2 team fell short of winning the Cup Series title this season, we know they will continue to be championship contenders for years to come.”
Brad Kesoloweski definitely has a a bright future ahead of him. With Paul Wolfe as the teams crew chief, they have had more success than teammate Kurt Busch did all season. They were able to make a run towards the chase and make it, and they also finished 5th this year in the points. All I can say about this, is that its a great move by Roger Penske. After all, doesn’t a run like this deserve an extension?
