2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. What can you say about it? It was fantastic. It was a great year for many of NASCAR’s finest. Can Dale Earnhardt Jr Perform Better in 2012 than 2011?

Kurt Busch Headed to Phoenix Racing

Kurt Busch has reportedly found himself a ride for the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series campaign.  According to NASCAR.com, the 2004 Sprint Cup Champ has reportedly signed on with Phoenix Racing to drive the #51 chevy.  The deal is reportedly for 1-year. NNS: Bullins To Lead Discount Tire Dodge Team

It was a big Wednesday for Penske Racing. First off they announced a new driver for the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge, A.J. Allmendinger, and then they announced a new crew chief for the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Breaking: Allmendinger Named the Driver of the #22 Penske Dodge

Accroding to Reports, Former RPM driver AJ Allmendinger has been named the driver of the #22 Dodge for Penske Racing, NASCAR.com confirms. Contract details have not been disclosed. There was speculation that that AJ Allmendinger was on the outs from Richard Petty Motorsports a few weeks back, and today’s news basically confirms it.   Allmendinger is taking over the ride from Kurt Busch, who was fired over the profanity-laced tirade after the season finale at Homestead.
