NASCAR announced on Tuesday that Howie Mandel will host the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series awards banquet at Wynn Las Vegas on Nov. 30. Mandel is one of the judges on the NBC reality competition show, “America’s Got Talent.”
“I’ve spent many years in my career evaluating and analyzing talent, and there is not doubt in my mind that these NASCAR drivers are the best drivers in the world,” Mandel said. “I’m really looking forward to hosting this year’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards to help honor the top-10 drivers and officially crown the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.”
During his 30-year career, Mandel’s credits have also included executive producer and host of the hidden camera series “Mobbed,” host of the game show “Deal or No Deal,” actor on the series “St. Elsewhere,” author of the book Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me, creator and executive producer of the children’s series “Bobby’s World” and long-time stand-up comic.
The Sprint Cup Series banquet is slated to get underway at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 30. It will be shown live on SPEED and can be heard via radio on Motor Racing Network and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.
