A big deal has been made about the Gen-6 car debuting in NASCAR this year. It’s understandable, though. After all, this is the first new car for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series since the ill-received Car of Tomorrow. NASCAR and the manufacturers — Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota — are touting this car’s debut as NASCAR’s return to stock, as efforts were made to make the new car look as much like its production counterparts as possible.
