Kyle Busch helps build Habitat for Humanity home

On Monday, Kyle Busch, members of his No. 18 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team at Joe Gibbs Racing, other personnel from JGR and employees and representatives from team sponsor M&Ms made up a 60-person team that assisted in building a home for a family in Charlotte through Habitat for Humanity.

“Charlotte has always been good to the NASCAR community and especially to me and my teammates,” Busch said. “So it feels great to help two local families fulfill their dreams of homeownership. I encourage all race fans to join M&M’S in the effort to M’Prove America in their own hometowns, as there are few things in life as rewarding as helping a neighbor.”

Volunteering for the build was part of M&Ms “M’Prove America” campaign to assist with the construction of Habitat for Humanity Homes across the country. Through the campaign M&Ms is donating $500,000 to Habitat. Fans are also being encouraged to pledge their time to assist in the cause at mproveamerica.com. The hope is that fans and M&Ms associates put in a combined 25,000 hours of volunteer time with the organization.
