No. 43 NASCAR Sprint Cup crew awarded

The over-the-wall crew on the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team (driver: Aric Almirola) was recently claimed the first quarter Mechanix Wear Most Valuable Pit Crew Award, voted on by series crew chiefs.

The team consists of pit crew coach Andrew Carter, rear tire changer Dwayne Ogles, rear tire carrier Eric Wallace, front tire changer Greg Donlin, front tire carrier Lance Hanna, jack man Jeremy Neeley and gas man Joe Karasinski.

Earlier this year, the No. 43 pit crew helped Almirola post four-straight top-10 finishes from the April 13 race at Texas Motor Speedway through the May 5 event at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. It was the first time the No. 43 car finished in the top-10 in four-consecutive races since 1996.
