NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team owners Frank Stoddard (FAS Lane Racing) and Archie St. Hilaire (Go Green Racing) announced on Dec. 24 that they are teaming up to field the No. 32 Ford under the FAS Lane Racing banner for Sprint Cup competition, beginning in 2014.
“Archie coming on board is great for FAS Lane Racing,” Stoddard said. “It’s going to allow us to both work at growing an improving the overall operation of our team. The move also allows me to concentrate, along with Archie, more on the business side of the operation. I have spread myself too thin with my multiple roles over the past three seasons. We will both be able to work harder with our existing sponsors, as well as the many new ones we look forward to working with.”
One of the multiple roles previously held by Stoddard at FAS Lane Racing was that of crew chief. Dan Stillman has been hired to take over the role on the No. 32 team. Veteran driver Terry Labonte will drive the car in the season-opening Daytona 500 in February. A driver roster for the remainder of the season will be revealed later.
