Statistically speaking: a look at Bristol Motor Speedway

facebooktwitterreddit

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is slated to take the green flag for race four of the 36-race 2014 season on Sunday with the running of the Food City 500 at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway.

So far, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Brad Keselowski have made their ways to victory lane in the first three races, all but guaranteeing their spots in the 16-driver Chase for the Sprint Cup championship postseason.

When it comes to Cup racing at Bristol, the Busch brothers, Kurt and Kyle, have it figured out. Each is a five-time winner at Bristol in NASCAR’s premier division. But they’re not the only two drivers who have made their ways into Bristol’s victory lane after Sprint Cup races at the track. Jeff Gordon’s also a five-time winner at BMS.
