NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Kansas Speedway: entry list

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is finally back in action after taking over a month off, as the trucks head to Kansas Speedway near Kansas City, Kan., for Friday night’s SFP 250, weather permitting. It’s only the third race of the season, with the first two races coming at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in late February and Matinsville (Va.) Speedway in late March.

Matt Crafton won the last time the trucks hit the track at Martinsville. As a result, Crafton is the only truck championship-eligible driver, so far, to make it to victory lane, as the season opener in Daytona was won by Sprint Cup regular Kyle Busch.

Even so, Crafton is third in the championship points standings, four points behind his ThorSport Racing teammate Johnny Sauter and Timothy Peters, who are tied at the top.

There are only 31 trucks entered for Friday night’s SFP 250, with 36 needed to make a full truck field. So, needless to say, all who make a qualifying attempt on Friday afternoon will receive spots on the starting grid. Here’s a look at the entry list:
