NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Dover: starting line-up

After rained greatly reduced practice time for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Dover (Del.) International Speedway on Thursday in preparation for Friday evening’s Lucas Oil 200, NASCAR opted to go ahead and cancel Friday’s scheduled qualifying session in favor of additional practice time. As a result, the starting grid for Friday’s race was set based on truck owner points. With the No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota leading the way in owner points, Kyle Busch will start from the pole with driver points leader Matt Crafton alongside on the front row in second in the No. 88 ThorSport Racing Toyota.

With the field set by owner points, Toyota claimed all but one spot in the front three rows of the grid. Red Horse Racing teammates Timothy Peters and German Quiroga will share the second row to start the race, with Peters starting his Toyota from the third spot and Quiroga fourth. The lone non-Toyota in the top-six is the No. 19 Brad Keselowski Racing Ford, to be driven at Dover by Tyler Reddick. Starting next to Reddick in the third row will be Crafton’s ThorSport teammate Johnny Sauter in the No. 98 Toyota.

The Truck Series race at Dover is scheduled to take the green flag shortly after 5:30 p.m. ET on Friday. It can be seen live on FOX Sports 1.
