NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway: entry list

This weekend, while the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is in Long Pond, Pa., at Pocono Raceway and the Nationwide Series takes the weekend off, the Camping World Truck Series heads to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth for Friday night’s WinStar World Casino 400. It’s a companion race to the Verizon IndyCar Series.

The entry list for this weekend’s Truck Series race is a short one, with only 27 trucks on hand for a series that considers a full race field to be 36 trucks. With the Sprint Cup Series making camp at Pocono, Sprint Cup regulars commonly on Truck Series entry lists, like Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski, are absent, but their trucks are still in Texas. The No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota that has been driven, primarily, by Busch, so far, this season will have Erik Jones behind the wheel. Meanwhile, Tyler Reddick will, once again, be behind the wheel of the No. 19 Brad Keselowski Racing Ford.

While the entry list is unusually short this weekend, the stars of the Truck Series will be in the Lone Star State, including Timothy Peters, who took the points lead from Matt Crafton last weekend at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. Crafton and his ThorSport Racing teammate Johnny Sauter, tied for second just a single point behind Peters, will also be on hand, attempting to take or retake the points lead.

Here’s a look at the entry list for Friday’s WinStar World Casino 400:
