NASCAR Nationwide Series at Kentucky Speedway: entry list
This weekend the NASCAR Nationwide Series is sandwiched between the Camping World Truck Series and the Sprint Cup Series on the weekend schedule of NASCAR action at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta. The Nationwide Series races Friday night in the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign 300.
With the Sprint Cup Series also racing at Kentucky, the Nationwide Series entry list has several Sprint Cup names on it, including the likes of Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth and Paul Menard.
The entry list is a long one, with 44 drivers enters. If there are not withdrawals, four drivers will end up on the outside looking in after Friday’s qualifying session. Pole qualifying to set the 40-car starting field is scheduled for 3:40 p.m. ET Friday, with the green flag scheduled to wave to start the race shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET Friday. Qualifying will be shown live on FOX Sports 1, while the race will be broadcast live by ESPN on Friday night.
