This weekend, the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series head to Loudon, N.H., for racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, with the Nationwide Series taking to the track on Saturday afternoon in the Sta-Green 200 and the Sprint Cup Series on Sunday for the Camping World RV Sales 301. Meanwhile, after a weekend off, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Iowa Speedway in Newton to go night racing in the American Ethanol 200 on Friday.

Unfortunately for the folks in Newton for the Truck race on Friday, the weather forecast doesn’t look good, as there’s a 90 percent chance of rain. The temperature is expected to reach 80 before dipping to a low of 68 degrees Friday night. The biggest chance of rain is expected during the daytime hourse. The rain chance then drops to 60 percent at night.
As for weather in Loudon, site of the Nationwide and Sprint Cup racing this weekend, there are rain chances in the forecast this weekend, but fortunately, they’re low. There’s a slight chance rain that may alter Friday’s schedule of practices for both series and qualifying for the Sprint Cup race with a 10 percent chance of rain that day. As for the temperature, a high of 79 degrees and low of 56 degrees are expected for Friday.
The forecast looks good for Nationwide qualifying and racing on Saturday, as there’s no chance of rain in the forecast. Temperatures that day are expected to be between a high of 83 degrees and a low of 60 degrees.
The biggest chance of weekend rain in Loudon is predicted for Sunday, Sprint Cup race day. There’s a chance of 20 percent chance of rain. Sunday is also expected to be the warmest day of the weekend, with a predicted high of 84 degrees and a low of 64 degrees.
