The NASCAR Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck series both head to the Irish Hills of Brooklyn, Mich., this weekend for racing at Michigan International Speedway, with the race weekend culminating in Sunday’s running of the Pure Michigan 400 for the Sprint Cup Series. Meanwhile, the Nationwide Series goes road course racing for the second-consecutive weekend, taking on the twists and turns of Mid-Ohio in Lexington, Ohio, on Saturday afternoon.

When it comes to MIS this weekend, the skies look clear for practice and Sprint Cup qualifying on Friday. For Saturday and Sunday, rain chances are slim at 20 percent each day. High temperatures between the mid-70s and low-80s are expected throughout the weekend with lows in the 50s on Friday and Sunday and a low temperature of 64 expected for Saturday night.
According to the weekend weather forecast for the Lexington, Ohio, area, rain, more specifically, scattered thunderstorms will arrive to late to interrupt the Nationwide race weekend. There is no rain in the forecast for Friday or Saturday, with scattered storms not expected to move into the area until Sunday. Daytime temperatures are expected to be in the 70s throughout the race weekend with an overnight low of 51 degrees on Friday night.
