NASCAR Nationwide Series at Kansas Speedway: entry list
The NASCAR Nationwide Series is heading into its final stretch of the 2014 season with five races remaining, counting Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. It’s a companion race to Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 Sprint Cup Series race, the fourth race of the 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup and first race of the Contender round of the Chase.
As a result of being a companion event to a Sprint Cup race, there are several Sprint Cup drivers, specifically drivers still in the Chase, on the list for the Nationwide race for extra seat time. Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch are all on the entry lists for the Nationwide race, while Truck Series regular Ryan Blaney climbs into the No. 22 Team Penske Ford his shares with Sprint Cuppers and Chasers Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano.
Qualifying for the Kansas Lottery 300 is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. local time (12:15 p.m. ET), with the race to follow at 2:30 p.m. local/3:30 p.m. ET. The race can be seen live on ESPN 2.
