]]> On Wednesday a merger was announced between the American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am, owned by NASCAR. Although the merger has already been announced, it won’t take place until 2014. The two series will continue to race separately in 2013. The name of the new series created by the 2014 merger has not yet been announced.
