“The NASCAR Foundation is proud to partner with great charities like Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma through our online autions,” NASCAR Foundation Executive Director Lorene King said. “The impact that the institute is making towards advancements in the treatment of pediatric trauma is truly remarkable.”

The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma is located within Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and was established with the help of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress and his wife, Judy. The institute’s mission is to save injured children’s lives through research and education.
