It’s Coulter’s third pole start of the season, the most of any driver in the Truck Series in 2012.

Timothy Peters will join Coulter on the front row with a qualifying time of 30.707 seconds for his first top-10 sart at LVMS.

David Mayhew, driving the No. 18 of Kyle Busch Motorsports and Matt Crafton claimed second-row starting spots by qualifying third and fourth.

Fifth through 10th in qualifying on Friday were Ty Dillon, Brendan Gaughan, Miguel Paludo, Justin Lofton, Grant Enfinger and Todd Bodone. Gaughan is behind the wheel of the No. 2 as a teammate to Coulter and Dillon this weekend. Enfinger is piloting the No. 29 entry of Brad Keselowski Racing.

The Camping World Truck Series will be two trucks shy of a full field of 36 on Saturday night, as only 34 drivers made qualifying attempts.

When it comes to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, just call 2012 the year of the first time winner. In the 11th race of the season, Saturday’s Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceay, Joey Coulter took the checkered flag to become the fourth first-time winner this year, not to mention the ninth different winner, overall.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been to victory lane,” crew chief Harold Holly said. “I’m just tickled to death for Joey Coulter.”

Coulter didn’t make his way to the front until the final 10 laps of the 50-lap race, though. On the final restart with seven laps to go, Coulter went three-wide with the Turner Motorsports duo of Nelson Piquet Jr. and James Buescher to go from third to first and drive on to the win.

“The whole time I’ve been racing stock cars, I’ve struggled with restarts, so I’ve worked on that more than anything,” Coulter said in victory lane.

After running first and second all race long, Turner Motorsports finished second and third, with Buescher taking second and Piquet third.

“I thought were were going to have a shot today, but the No. 22 took it three wide,” Buescher, the only repeat race winner this season, said.

On the final restart, Piquet lost several positions, but was able to drive back up to third by the finish.

“I’m sure another two or three laps and I finish second,” Piquet said.

Matt Crafton finished fourth, and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top-five.

Series points leader Timothy Peters was involved in the third and final caution of the race, and as a result, finished 22nd. With a sixth-place finish, Ty Dillon closed to within eight points of Peters in the championship points standings.

Parker Kligerman finished seventh, John Wes Townley was eighth, Justin Lofton ninth and Ross Chastain 10th.
